Easter Weekend for the whole family

This long weekend is ideal for parents and children/teenagersto get acquainted with the Wadden and sailing on a large ship. Around the regular parts of our trips, such as sailing, beaching and spending a night at anchor, allnthe fun activities organized for the whole family.

Program

  • Friday from approx. 19.30 on board in Harlingen, reception and explanation about the ins and outs on board
  • Saturday introduction to sailing the Rode Swan. Vthen we sail to a sandbank, where both parents and children help. Saturday afternoon mudflat walking from the ship. We spend the night at anchor.
  • Sunday we sail to Terschelling and spend the night in the harbour. In the afternoon there is an opportunity to walk or cycle on the island or just relax.
  • We sail back to Harlingen on Monday. All hands on deck!
 
There is a guide (no nanny!) on board organizing activities. We sail about four to five hours a day, so there is plenty of time to search the sandbank for starfish and crabs and discover the island of Terschelling. 

General

Food, coffee, tea and lemonade are provided by the ship’s cook. Other drinks are available on board for a fee. Unfortunately it is not allowed to bring your own drinks. Stay on board in a 2 or 4 person cabin with bunk beds. All beds are freshly made with fitted sheets, pillows and duvets. The towels are also ready.
