Enkhuizer Klipperrace

Friday 7 October to Sunday 9 October 2022

Once a year the unique and spectacular Enkhuizer Klipperrace takes place. The Rode Swan sails in this two-day race and gives experienced and untrained sailors the opportunity to sail along. Do you know what a ‘sheet’ is and what a ‘hallyard’ is for? Then this sportive event is for you.

Program

Friday from approx. 19.00 on board in Enkhuizen reception and explanation about the ins and outs on board. Together we divide the deck positions and discuss strategy.
Saturday 9:00 am ready for the Three Cities Race. Final finish time 20:00
Sunday 10:00 Get ready for the Olympic Track. Final finish time 15:00

Optional:

Sailing from Harlingen to Enkhuizen on Friday 9 October, departure around 13:00
Sailing back from Enkhuizen to Harlingen on October 11, arrival around 9:00 PM

You don’t need to be an experienced sailor to race, but a basic knowledge of sailing is useful.

General

Food, coffee, tea and lemonade are provided by the crew. Other drinks are available on board for a fee. Unfortunately, it is not allowed to bring your own drinks.

Stay on board in a 2 or 4 person cabin with a bunk bed. All beds are freshly made including bed linen. The towels are also ready.
